Local MSPs Patrica Ferguson and Bill Kid have submitted motions to parliament congratulating the Caravan Project on it’s recent win at this years Scottish Charity Awards.

Margaret Nisbet, chairperson of the Caravan Project said:

To have your work recognised in Scotland’s parliament is a real honour, the fact that these motions have been supported by so many other politician from across the whole of Scotland is very flattering too.  I’d just like to thank both Patricia Ferguson MSP and Bill Kidd MSP for making such a kind gesture.

To date (Thursday, 19th June 2014) both motions have been supported by nearly 30 parliamentarians, including local MSPs Hanzala Malik and Drew Smith.  You can read both motions here and here.
